FES Boost! is a virtual Reality game currently in development for the Children's Hospital of Colorado to assist patients undergoing Neurological Rehabilitation. We are currently in alpha testing and will be testing the game in a beta phase with patients in Q2 2023.

The FES project (working title) is a PC Virtual Reality experience that assists with Neuro rehabilitation for Patients at the Children's Hospital of Colorado. I've worn a few hats on the project, but my role RE 3D Environment modeling, World building and Level design and creative concepts. This snowy alpine mountain area is the first biome the player experiences and interacts with. I used Unity and the "Gaia" asset to create the environment which allows the player to free roam inside a 6km x 6km area.

"The Sink" is a Virtual Reality training application that runs on the Meta Quest 2 (Oculus Quest 2) and teaches adults with cognitive disabilities how to bus tables in a restaurant and develop real world skills.
My role on the project as the 3D Environment & Prop Artist included all of the 3d modeling, texturing and lighting using 3D Studio Max and the Unity game engine. The model is low-poly in an effort to be mobile VR friendly. The Sink is a real restaurant in Boulder Colorado that this environment is based on. An on-site trip was required to capture reference photography, textures and measurements. |
Using the Unity Real-Time Engine and 3D Studio Max I create Virtual Reality 3D Environments of live event spaces and stage designs to Pre-Visualize and help plan live shows and conferences. This allows event producers and clients to move around the 3D virtual space with a VR headset and experience the planned vision well ahead of the events. This often results in catching issues such as line of sight problems, seating and table placement concerns, screen & staging errors and adjusting for COVID-19 Safety. Additionally, it allows me to load up the motion graphics and video content I create for these events on the virtual screens to be sure that my animations are seamlessly spanning 3, 5, 7 or potentially more screens across the room.

A Stage, seating & Screen Concept Design used for the Annual NAILBA 2020 Meeting. By building this 3D environment using UNITY and 3Ds Max we were able to help our client understand the vision for the event and collaborate on a higher level.

A VR demo room I created to showcase Fusion Productions and Digital now print content in an engaging way. Users can also interact with 3D science models with the hand controller with a raycaster.
